Every remodeler knows the problem: the client texts you on Saturday afternoon asking when tile starts. You know, but you're at your kid's baseball game. The MY LAURA Client Portal is where the client goes first — for estimates, change orders, invoices, schedules, and project updates — so you get your weekends back.
Clients access their portal via a secure magic link. No account to create, no password to remember, no "I forgot my login" calls.
The portal displays your logo at the top, not ours — so the client sees a branded extension of your business. (Small MY LAURA attribution still appears at the bottom of the sidebar for technical trust.)
Estimates, change orders, invoices, payment history, schedule, photos, and documents — all in one view. Clients stop asking.
The Client Portal is a single branded page that shows everything the client needs to know about their project — and nothing they don't. Your logo sits at the top and MY LAURA's name only appears as a small line at the bottom of the sidebar. No confusing software. Just a clean view of their project.
When you send an estimate, the client opens their portal and sees it rendered exactly how you configured the visibility settings — sections collapsed or expanded, markup hidden or shown, lump sums or line detail. They can review, ask questions via the project message thread (two-way, at the project level), and sign digitally.
Change orders show up in the portal with the full scope — what's being added, what it costs, why. The client signs, and once it's approved you decide how to bill it — apply it as its own section on an existing invoice, or spin up a new invoice for just the change order. Either way, the signed scope is there in writing. No more "I thought that was included" arguments.
Invoices in the portal have a Pay button that routes through Stripe — your Stripe account, not ours. You keep your processing rate. No platform markup, no held funds, no disputes with a third party.
Remodeling clients ask a lot of questions. Some are reasonable; most are answerable by a piece of software instead of you. The Client Portal is designed to reduce the "where are we on the project" texts by 80%.
Clients can see their project schedule — when the tile guy is coming, when cabinets are being installed, when the final walkthrough is. They can even subscribe to an iCal feed so it shows up in their personal calendar. When something reschedules, they see it automatically.
Progress photos, permit documents, material selections, inspection reports — every file you upload to a project has a per-file "share with client" toggle. Show the cabinet manufacturer's specs but keep the rough cost worksheet private. The portal updates the moment you flip the toggle.
When you schedule an appointment (kickoff meeting, walkthrough, final), the client gets a portal link to confirm. You know they've seen it. They know it's happening. No more "did you confirm Tuesday?" texts.
Client Portal is included in MY LAURA at $199/month. Unlimited everything. 30-day free trial, no credit card.
