Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using MY LAURA.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MY LAURA ("Service"), available at getmylaura.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

2. Description of Service

MY LAURA is a field service management software platform designed for remodeling contractors. The Service provides tools for:

✓ Project tracking and management
✓ Subcontractor coordination
✓ Purchase order creation
✓ Profit margin tracking
✓ Calendar and scheduling features

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

✓ Provide accurate, current, and complete information
✓ Maintain and promptly update your account information
✓ Maintain the security of your password and account
✓ Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
✓ Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial: We offer a 30-day free trial to new users. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

Subscription Fees: The Service is offered at $199 per month. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis and are non-refundable except as expressly set forth herein.

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience a significant service issue that we cannot resolve, please contact us and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

Data After Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will have 30 days to export your data. After this period, your data may be permanently deleted.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

✗ Violate any applicable laws or regulations
✗ Infringe on the rights of others
✗ Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
✗ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
✗ Interfere with or disrupt the Service
✗ Use the Service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
✗ Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

7. Your Data

Ownership: You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service ("Your Data"). We do not claim ownership of Your Data.

License: By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.

Data Protection: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect Your Data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy and Security page for more information.

Data Export: You may export Your Data at any time through the Service's export functionality.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of MY LAURA and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of MY LAURA.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services (such as Stripe for payments, calendar integrations, etc.). These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may occasionally need to perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance when possible.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MY LAURA, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MY LAURA and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

16. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced to the fullest extent under law.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Security Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MY LAURA regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
