I built the scheduler, then I still hated using it.

The first version of scheduling in MY LAURA was mine, and it was still work. One appointment at a time. Then drafting the text that went out to each trade, one at a time. I did it a handful of times before I stopped and thought: this is ridiculous. Nobody should have to do this.

This is the part where most software shrugs and says that's just how scheduling works. I didn't want to build that. The information was already in the system — the job, the trades, the sequence. It didn't need me to retype it. It just needed a little help.

That's what the Auto-Scheduler is.

Frequently asked questions.

Can my subcontractors edit the schedule if they are running behind?

No. You retain 100% administrative control over the master schedule. Subcontractors receive clean, view-only updates synced straight to their native phone calendars so they always know where they need to be — but they cannot alter your timeline.

Can I adjust the auto-generated schedule before it goes live?

Yes. Nothing gets sent to a trade partner or a homeowner until you approve it. The schedule lands as a draft you can rearrange, trim, or expand — so if a phase needs to shift or a trade has a hard date, you set it before anyone gets notified.

Do I have to use the Gantt chart view?

Not at all. Switch instantly between a traditional Month calendar view, a high-level Gantt chart, or a clean chronological daily List view depending on how you prefer to check your job sites.

Scheduling is one piece of the project.

The schedule feeds the change orders, the checklists, and the profitability widget. Together, they run the whole job on one dashboard.
