Auto-Scheduler

Building the schedule shouldn't be a Sunday.

The whole timeline from an approved estimate. Every phase, every trade, on real dates. Editable before you commit — so the schedule that goes out is the schedule you actually want.

Why I built this

I built the scheduler, then I still hated using it.

The first version of scheduling in MY LAURA was mine, and it was still work. One appointment at a time. Then drafting the text that went out to each trade, one at a time. I did it a handful of times before I stopped and thought: this is ridiculous. Nobody should have to do this.

This is the part where most software shrugs and says that's just how scheduling works. I didn't want to build that. The information was already in the system — the job, the trades, the sequence. It didn't need me to retype it. It just needed a little help.

That's what the Auto-Scheduler is.

The information was already there. It just needed a little help.

One approved estimate. One click. The whole timeline, on real dates, ready to edit.

The whole timeline in one click.

The signed estimate becomes the schedule — every phase, every trade, on dates that respect the sequence you actually work in.

Edit before it goes out.

What the auto-scheduler proposes is a preview, not a commit. Move a date. Change an assignment. Adjust a duration. Nothing goes to anybody until you say so.

Every trade knows what they're on.

Framing goes to the framer. Tile goes to the tile guy. Nobody's job includes coordinating anybody else's job.

Weekends off by default.

Nothing lands on a Saturday unless you put it there. Because if a Saturday appointment goes out because the software didn't know any better, that's your Saturday.

Every confirmation, in your voice.

When you commit the schedule, the confirmations go out from your business number — every trade gets what they need to see, nothing they don't.

Templated for the way you actually build.

Kitchen. Bath. Whole-home. Every remodeler runs a different playbook. Save yours once. The Auto-Scheduler uses it every time.

Why one system

Auto-scheduling on a separate tool needs to be fed everything: the phases, the trades, the durations, the sequence. Every retype is a place the schedule can be wrong. Here the estimate already knows it — the sections, the line items, the trades. Auto-scheduling is just the system using what it already has.
